Virgin Valley got themselves on the board against Democracy Prep Agassi Campus on Thursday, but Democracy Prep Agassi Campus never followed suit. They were the clear victors by an 18-0 margin over the Blue Knights. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Blue Knights: they've now won six in a row.

Jordan Goodsell was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Cade Litzenberger was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Tray Hughes, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Virgin Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .607. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Virgin Valley's victory bumped their record up to 16-8-1. As for Democracy Prep Agassi Campus, they dropped their record down to 1-14 with the loss, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Virgin Valley will host Eldorado at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Democracy Prep Agassi Campus, they will be playing at home against Moapa Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Blue Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
