Kearney had won three straight at home, but on Wednesday they bumped their record up to 14-10 to make it four. They blew past the Raytown South Cardinals 13-1. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their two-run performance the contest before.

As for Raytown South, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly 12 runs.

For Raytown South's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marcellus Goudeau, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases. Goudeau has become a key player for the Cardinals: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 5-12 otherwise.
