Jackson has been on the road for three straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Oakville Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jackson will be strutting in after a victory while the Tigers will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Tuesday, Jackson beat the Bluejays 52-40.
Meanwhile, Oakville pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. The contest between them and Ladue Horton Watkins wasn't particularly close, with Oakville falling 69-55. While losing is never fun, Oakville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 330th, while the Rams are ranked 13th).
Jackson is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Oakville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.
Everything came up roses for Jackson against the Tigers in their previous meeting back in March of 2023 as the squad secured a 77-39 win. Does Jackson have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
