Two dominant backs in Chase Riehle and Lohgan Bottjer are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Banning Lewis Academy Stallions will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against the Limon Badgers at 1:00 p.m. on November 11th. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
With a playoff game on the line, Banning Lewis Academy rose to the challenge on Saturday. They took down Wiggins 21-2.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Banning Lewis Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Riehle, who rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns. Joseph Bjegovich and his 88 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Banning Lewis Academy's win.
Meanwhile, Limon put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Cedaredge 42-7 at home. The result was nothing new for Limon, who have now won nine matches by 21 points or more so far this season.
Limon got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Bottjer out in front who rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. Skylur McCready was another key contributor, rushing for 79 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Banning Lewis Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Limon, their win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0.
