The Forks Spartans will head out on the road to take on the Ocosta Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Forks pushed their score all the way to 57 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 66-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Neah Bay.
Meanwhile, Ocosta beat Pe Ell 36-28 on Monday. The victory was just what Ocosta needed coming off of a 79-38 loss in their prior match.
Jesus Agramon was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 16 points along with nine rebounds. That's the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Luis Solis, who scored six points.
Forks' loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-7. As for Ocosta, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-11.
Everything came up roses for Forks against Ocosta in their previous meeting on January 3rd as the squad secured a 73-25 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Forks since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
