The Chestertown Christian Academy Patriots can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Monday. They came out on top against Fairwinds Christian by a score of 33-25. Chestertown Christian Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Chestertown Christian Academy was led to victory by Megan Stoltzfus and Reagan Harrison. Stoltzfus scored nine points, while Harrison scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harrison has scored all season.
Chestertown Christian Academy's victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-7. As for Fairwinds Christian, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chestertown Christian Academy will take on Seaside Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Seaside Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Fairwinds Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Concord Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on February 6th. Fairwinds Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
