The Mount Horeb/Barneveld Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Seymour Thunder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mount Horeb/Barneveld is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
Last Friday, everything went Mount Horeb/Barneveld's way against Portage as Mount Horeb/Barneveld made off with a 48-25 win. The result was nothing new for Mount Horeb/Barneveld, who have now won six contests by 20 points or more so far this season.
Trenton Owens continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 182 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, and also picking up 104 receiving yards and a touchdown. Owens' longest reception was for an incredible 71 yards. Another player making a difference was Kasey Helgeson, who threw for 260 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.
Meanwhile, Seymour got themselves on the board against Shawano Community on Thursday, but Shawano Community never followed suit. They blew past the Hawks 36-0 at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Seymour.
Their wins bumped Mount Horeb/Barneveld to 9-0 and Seymour to 3-6.
