AISA AAA Region 2 recap October 1, 2013
Monroe Academy added to the longest winning streak in AISA AAA Region 2 this week by beating Fort Dale Academy, 62-30. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Monroe Academy took down the Eagles 62-30 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Morgan Academy's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Senators feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Harrison Adams has thrown for 912 yards and 9 touchdowns this season, while Harrison Watters has 32 catches for 511 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Morgan Academy takes on Fort Dale Academy. The Senators are currently in fourth, while James Sampley's team is in second.
The Volunteers made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 465 from 676. The advance stemmed from a 62-30 victory over the Eagles last week.
