Williston-Elko has not had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Aveion Walker was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds for Denmark-Olar. Walker is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Joy Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Williston-Elko's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-5. As for Denmark-Olar, their win was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-3.
Both teams will face off at 6:30 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Denmark-Olar has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 224 points over their last three matches. As for they, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Williston-Elko at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
