The Catholic Central Crusaders will head out on the road to  square off against  the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Indians at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Catholic Central's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  every time they've taken the court this season.
 Even though Elmira scored an imposing 59 points on Monday, Catholic Central still came out on top. Catholic Central took their   match against Elmira   69-59. Given Catholic Central's advantage  in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings  (they are ranked fifth, while Elmira is ranked 115th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Catholic Central's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Sei'Mir Roberson, who  scored 26 points along with four  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Xavjon Arroyo, who  scored 14 points along with eight  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Friday. They put the hurt on Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons with a sharp  62-37 victory. The  win was just what Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk needed coming off of a  47-27 loss in their prior  matchup.
 Catholic Central pushed their record up to 14-1 with that  victory, which was their fifth straight  on the road. As for Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.
 Catholic Central strolled past Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk when the teams last played  back in January of 2023 by a score of  60-46. Will Catholic Central repeat their success,  or does  Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
