Spoto is 8-0 against Blake since November of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Having just played yesterday, the Spoto Spartans will get right back to it and host the Blake Yellow Jackets at 6:30 p.m. on January 25th. Spoto will be strutting in after a victory while Blake will be coming in after a loss.
On Wednesday, Spoto didn't have too much trouble with Gaither at home as they won 60-46. The win was just what Spoto needed coming off of a 58-32 loss in their prior game.
Blake suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Wednesday. They were outmatched by Sickles at home and fell 74-30. Blake has struggled against Sickles recently, as their matchup on Wednesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Spoto is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Blake, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
Everything came up roses for Spoto against Blake in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 60-24 win. With Spoto ahead 44-16 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
