Jeannette is 8-0 against Riverview since February of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Jeannette Jayhawks will head out on the road to challenge the Riverview Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Jeannette is looking to tack on another W to their eight-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
Last Friday, Jeannette earned a 66-54 win over Springdale. That's two games straight that Jeannette has won by exactly 12 points.
Jeannette's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Kymone Brown, who scored 21 points, and Jayce Powell, who scored 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Powell has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Riverview pushed their score all the way to 58 on Sunday, but even that wasn't enough to win. The contest between Riverview and Fort Cherry wasn't particularly close, with Riverview falling 75-58.
Jeannette's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Riverview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
Jeannette didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Riverview in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 75-70 win. Will Jeannette repeat their success, or does Riverview have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
