Tom Bean had already won 14 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it 15 on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Ector Eagles as they made off with a 10-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tomcats also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

Keaton Reed made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Reed was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Dyson Farris and Chase Stratton did most of the damage at the plate: Farris went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Stratton got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases Stratton has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Donnie Hooten, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Tom Bean's victory bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Ector, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6-1.

Tom Bean wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 5-0 win against Trenton on the 17th. As for Ector, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-2 defeat against Sam Rayburn on the 16th.
