Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodcreek). Everything went their way against the Christian Brothers Falcons on Wednesday as they made off with a 16-2 victory. Considering the Timberwolves have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Maryn Macneil made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out eight over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run and five RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Camryn Kelley, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
