Penn-Trafford scored a stunning upset when it knocked off McKeesport, 35-20. At the time, the Tigers were ranked 11th in the state, while the Warriors were 76th.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Penn-Trafford, who defeated 11th ranked McKeesport, 35-20.
Kiski Area's Chad Kuhn and Joe Brungo have formed a dream team this season, leading WPIAL AAAA Foothills in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Kuhn has thrown for 1,065 yards this season, while Brungo has 37 catches for 423 yards. Joey DeFloria from Hempfield Area leads the league in rushing with 1,397 yards.
John Ruane's team extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating George Smith's team, 35-20. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Warriors.
