Volleyball Recap: Haldane Wins Going Away Against Woodlands

Haldane won the last time they faced Woodlands and things went their way on Friday too. The Blue Devils walked away with a 3-1 win over the Falcons. That two set margin sets a new team best for the Blue Devils this season.

The victory didn't come easy: Woodlands scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-23, 16-25, 25-20.

Liv Holmbo paced Haldane's offense, picking up 15 kills. Holmbo got some help from Gianna Squillace and her 34 assists. Squillace was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

The win made it two in a row for Haldane and bumps their season record up to 3-10. As for Woodlands, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Haldane will take on Brewster at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Woodlands does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
