Fort Bend Clements hasn't had much luck against Fort Bend Hightower recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Rangers will challenge the Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. Fort Bend Clements has given up an average of 39.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
On Friday, Fort Bend Clements was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 33-28 to Fort Bend Austin. While the Rangers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bulldogs 14-7 in the first quarter.

Fort Bend Clements might have lost, but man, George Jreissaty was a machine: he rushed for 260 yards and three scores while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 33 receiving yards. With that strong performance, Jreissaty is now averaging an impressive 123.7 rushing yards per game.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Bend Hightower). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 61-7 victory over Fort Bend Dulles. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-0.
A big part of Fort Bend Hightower's win came down to the chemistry between Khylan Davis and his top target Cori Robertson. Davis threw for 300 yards and five TDs while completing 80% of his passes while Robertson picked up 189 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Robertson showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 63 yards. Zyris Anders handled things on the ground, rushing for 123 yards.
Fort Bend Hightower was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 219 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 219 rushing yards in three consecutive games.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Fort Bend Hightower's defense and their six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Cornelius Anthony II and Gavin Brooks, who racked up five sacks between them. Anthony II is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season. Fort Bend Hightower got some further help from Caleb Curtis: he made eight total tackles (4.0 for loss).
Fort Bend Clements' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Fort Bend Hightower, their record is now 4-2.
Fort Bend Clements took a serious blow against Fort Bend Hightower in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 68-0. Can the Rangers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
