The Highland Huskies can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Wednesday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 54-25 win over Non Varsity Opponent. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-8.
Ty Goeckner continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Noah Watson, who scored 13 points along with two blocks.
Highland is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Non Varsity Opponent, their loss dropped their record down to 131-238-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highland will take on the Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Timberline is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they will head out on the road to face off against the Wolves at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.
