St. Charles stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They breezed by North Point on the road to the tune of 59-29. The win was familiar territory for St. Charles who now have five in a row.
Shamir Taylor continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 28 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tajir Webster, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
North Point struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
St. Charles has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for North Point, they dropped their record down to 4-8 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
St. Charles will take on Chopticon at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Chopticon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 last Wednesday. As for North Point, they will head out on the road to face off against La Plata at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
