Mia Kelly and Markee Wilhelm stepped up to the plate in a big way. Kelly went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI, while Wilhelm went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

At the plate, Zoe Uribes was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one triple. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lyla Mahan, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
Montpelier lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Montpelier's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Holgate, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
Holgate's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's game. The Tigers have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Montpelier, though, as they've been averaging only 0.9 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Holgate continue to outrun the ball?
