The Dixon Dukes & Duchesses will head out on the road to  take on  the Princeton Tigers  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Dixon is leaving town to face Princeton after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Dixon came up short against  DeKalb on Friday, falling  15-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  defeat the Dukes & Duchesses have suffered  since May 7, 2024.
 Dixon saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Brady Feit, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Meanwhile, Princeton didn't have quite enough to beat Sterling on Friday and fell  12-11.
  Nolan Kloepping was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.  Ryan Jagers was another,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Dixon beat Princeton 6-1  in their previous meeting  back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dixon since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
