Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the South Oak Cliff Bears walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Leopards 42-0 on the road. The victory was familiar territory for South Oak Cliff who now have 11 in a row.
South Oak Cliff had a senior duo take command as Khalil Ewell gained 85 total yards and two touchdowns and Danny Green Jr punched in three rushing scores. Green Jr has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played.
South Oak Cliff's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB 12 times. It was a group effort, with three picking up two apiece.
South Oak Cliff's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Lovejoy, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 12-2.
South Oak Cliff will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Emerson at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. Emerson has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 755 points over their last 14 games. Lovejoy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
