 Meanwhile, Belton-Honea Path humbled  Pendleton with  a  49-7 victory. With the Bears ahead  49-0 at the half, the  match was all but over already.
 Belton-Honea Path can attribute much of their success to   Marquise Henderson, who rushed for 171 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and   Noah Thomas, who threw for 154 yards and four touchdowns while completing 91.7% of his passes. Henderson's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 104  rushing yards.
 Walhalla's record is now 5-3. As for Belton-Honea Path, their victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 8-1.
 Friday's  game will pit two  of the most dominant  backs against one another:  Robinson and  Henderson. Robinson has put up some stellar numbers this year, and currently owns excellent season averages 182.5 rushing yards per game this season. For his part,  Henderson has averaged 156 rushing yards per game this season.
 Walhalla took a serious blow against Belton-Honea Path  in their previous matchup  back in September of 2023, falling  63-35. That  matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Walhalla was down  42-14.
