Copper Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Corner Canyon Chargers, falling 49-14. Lee's longest reception was for an incredible 71 yards. Bronson Evans was another key player, throwing for 282 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes.
Copper Hills' loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Corner Canyon, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.
Copper Hills wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 36-25 defeat against Herriman on the 11th. Corner Canyon has also already played their next contest, a 37-21 victory against Bingham on the 11th.
