The Iroquois Raiders had to endure  an  11-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Covington Latin 51-15 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest  victory Iroquois has managed all season.
  Maliyah Poindexter continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  scoring 28 points along with four  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ty'aiona Clay-toole, who  scored 13 points along with six  rebounds.
 Iroquois' win  ended a four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 4-12. As for Covington Latin, they are  on a four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-4.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Iroquois will take on Holy Cross at 5:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. Holy Cross is coming into the  match hot, having won their last three games. As for Covington Latin, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Model at 6:30  p.m.  on January 30th.
