Gresham Community was the  3-0 winner over Tigerton when they last played one another  back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats came up short against  the Tigers on Thursday, falling  3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss the Wildcats have suffered  since August 26th.
 While Gresham Community was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19,  25-15.
 Lizzy May paced Gresham Community's offense, picking up seven kills. May got some help from  Addison Fischer and her six assists.  Emily Jensen and  Alivia Perez kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tigerton to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Presley Stewart-Rolfs, who  had 14  kills, 11  digs,  and four  blocks. Stewart-Rolfs is  on a roll when it comes to  kills, as she's  now  had eight or more in each of the last four games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Aaliyah Lederhaus, who  had 17  digs, six  kills,  and two  aces.
Gresham Community's  defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-6. As for Tigerton, their win  ended  an  eight-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 5-4.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gresham Community will challenge Marion at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Tigerton, they will face off against Northeast Wisconsin Christian HomeSchool at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
