The biggest upset of the week belonged to Seymour, who took down 117th ranked New Albany, 22-20.
Columbus East extended the longest winning streak in Hoosier Hills this week by beating Jeffersonville, 41-6. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Jeffersonville's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Red Devils feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tyler Fridley has thrown for 2013 yards and 26 touchdowns this season, while Ricky Embry has 33 catches for 637 yards. Austin Hines leads the league in rushing with 802 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Bedford North Lawrence takes on Columbus East. As it stands, the Stars are in third, while Bob Gaddis' team is in first.
Floyd Central was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from eighth to sixth in Hoosier Hills. Earlier in the week, the Highlanders triumphed over Jennings County 12-8.
