The Smithsburg Leopards lost against the North Hagerstown Hubs back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Smithsburg fell 59-50 to North Hagerstown.
Landon Somerville was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 22 points along with 8 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nas Keyes, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
Smithsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for North Hagerstown, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Smithsburg will challenge Williamsport at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Hagerstown's road trip will continue as they head out to face Catoctin at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th.
