West Clermont had lost three straight at home, but  on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 3-6 to make it four. They lost  11-0 to the Milford Eagles. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won  2-1.
As for Milford,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 12-7. Considering they have won nine contests by more than five  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
For Milford's part,  not much got past  Meghan McClellan, who gave up just  four  hits and racked up 17 Ks to keep West Clermont off the board. McClellan has been consistent: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Jesslyn Roberts, who  fired off two  home runs and six  RBI while going 3-for-4. Those  two  home runs gave  her a new career-high.  Gabby Jones also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  double of the season.
