South Vermillion won the last time they faced Attica and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Red Ramblers with a sharp 15-9 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Shaylee Wallace made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Wallace was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs.
In other batting news, Rosie Travioli was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Mady Crim, who went 4-for-5 with one run and one RBI.
