Everything went their way against Front Royal Christian as Randolph-Macon Academy made off with a 55-35 victory. Considering Randolph-Macon Academy has won three contests by more than 19 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Randolph-Macon Academy found their leader in underclassman Nolan Kirabo, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Johnathan Doku, who scored six points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Randolph-Macon Academy's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Front Royal Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Randolph-Macon Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Fishburne Military at 6:30 p.m. on January 5th. Fishburne Military is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Front Royal Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
