Lower Moreland will head out to challenge New Hope-Solebury at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Lower Moreland had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Collegium Charter on Monday. The Lions' pitcher stepped up to hand the Cougar a 10-0 shutout.
Izzy O'Brien was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. O'Brien was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.

On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. As for Lower Moreland, they pushed their record up to 7-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
Lower Moreland suffered a grim 16-1 defeat to New Hope-Solebury in their previous meeting back in April. Can Lower Moreland avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
