The Williamstown Blue Devils lost against the Hazen Wildcats back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Williamstown took a serious blow against Hazen, falling 72-27. Williamstown has struggled against Hazen recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Williamstown saw an underclassman step up: Colby Laggner scored six points.
Williamstown's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Hazen, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Williamstown will be home for the holidays to greet Vergennes at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hazen, they will head out on the road to face off against Enosburg Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
