The Omaha North Vikings will take on the Tekamah-Herman Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Omaha North will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
Omaha North took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 13-4 margin over Omaha South. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won seven matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Chance Kinman made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Omaha North is 3-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 8-9 otherwise. Kinman was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April.
In other batting news, Max Bolouvi was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Colin Kinman, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
Omaha North kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are 4-2 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Tekamah-Herman came up short against Mount Michael Benedictine on Tuesday, falling 14-7.
Cale Belfrage made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Lane Loftis was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
Tekamah-Herman's defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Omaha North, they moved to 11-10 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Omaha North has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Tekamah-Herman struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
