Leopold came out on top against Scott County Central on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive 18-run second inning. The Wildcats blew past the Braves 21-2. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by ten runs or more this season.

Leopold has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Scott County Central, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the loss, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Leopold will venture away from home to face off against Scott City at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least ten runs in their last six matchups. As for Scott County Central, they will welcome Delta at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
