Softball Recap: Conrad's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

After flying high against Shelby on Tuesday, Conrad came back down to earth. The Cowboys fell 15-12 to the Manhattan Tigers on Friday. The Cowboys' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Sierra Dockter was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs and one RBI. Claire Long was another key player, going 2-for-5 with three runs and two RBI.

Conrad's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Manhattan, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 10-0.

Coincidentally, Conrad and Manhattan will both be playing Shepherd the next time they take the field. The Cowboys will head out to face the Mustangs at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
