The biggest upset of the week belonged to Rabun County, who took down 298th ranked Rabun County, 27-14.
Jefferson extended the longest winning streak in AA Region 8 this week by beating Riverside Military Academy, 35-7. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
The Wildcats' Wes Holcombe and Charlie Woerner have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Holcombe has thrown for 1485 yards this season, while Woerner has 25 catches for 613 yards. Oglethorpe County's Kendrick Presley leads the league in rushing yards with 1008.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Jefferson takes on Union County. The Dragons are currently in second, while the Panthers are in third.
Washington-Wilkes took down the Patriots 42-8 last week, the largest margin of any game.
