Jordan Quijada had another great game (as he tends to do), picking up 195 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Michael Fulton also helped out with an impressive 88 receiving yards.
Sierra Linda didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Brandon Hadnot and Jordan Solano. Hadnot got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, it may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Shadow Mountain ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 22-20 win over Kingman. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Matadors.
