After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hill Country Christian School of Austin, the John Paul II Centurions were happy to have found some success on Friday. They snuck past Brentwood Christian with a 42-37 win. That's another feather in the cap for John Paul II, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Brentwood Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Zariah Williams, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Williams continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Zaniah Williams was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
John Paul II's win bumped their record up to 11-15. As for Brentwood Christian, they now have a losing record at 15-16.
John Paul II does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Brentwood Christian also has no future games currently scheduled.
