They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Coral Park 56-19 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win St. Brendan has managed all season.
Jaden Castro continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of St. Brendan's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gianna Vindigni, who scored 12 points.
Despite the defeat, Coral Park had strong showings from Ivana Montoya, who scored six points, and Sade Estrada, who scored two points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Montoya has scored all season.
St. Brendan's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Coral Park, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-3.
St. Brendan will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Sports Leadership & Management at 7:30 p.m. Sports Leadership & Management will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Coral Park won't have much time to rest: their next game is against South Miami at 3:30 p.m. on December 13th.
