Mars Hill Bible's  contest on Thursday was close up to the half, which is when they kicked things up a notch. Their defense stepped up to hand the Wilson Warriors  a   6-0 shutout. Considering the Panthers have won six games by more than two  goals this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
They hit Wilson with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from  Jesse Parker (3),  Drew McKinnon (2),  and  Dylan Blackburn.
The  win was  the fourth in a row for Mars Hill Bible, bringing their record for this year to 8-5-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero  goals over those four  matchups. As for Wilson,  they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-7.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mars Hill Bible will square off against East Lawrence at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Wilson will have a little extra prep time after the  defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Brooks at 7:00  p.m.  on April 1st.
