Buena Park is 2-8 against Fullerton since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Buena Park Coyotes will head out on the road to challenge the Fullerton Indians at 7:00 p.m. Buena Park is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
On Tuesday, Buena Park came up short against Sunny Hills and fell 60-48. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Buena Park in their matchups with Sunny Hills: they've now lost five in a row.
Meanwhile, Fullerton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 59-54 to La Habra. While losing is never fun, Fullerton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 606th, while La Habra is ranked 46th).
Buena Park's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 11-11. As for Fullerton, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-13.
Things could have been worse for Buena Park, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-43 loss to Fullerton when the teams last played back in January of 2023. Thankfully for Buena Park, Christian Hubbard (who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
