On Thursday, Biggs was fully in charge, breezing past Tulelake 64-24 on the road. With that victory, Biggs brought their scoring average up to 53.7 points per game.
Biggs got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Emilio Vera out in front who scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. The matchup was Vera's third in a row with at least ten points. Skyler Long was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Despite the loss, Tulelake still got an impressive performance from Leo Leon, who scored 16 points.
Biggs' win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Tulelake, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Biggs is on the road again on Friday and play against Trinity at 6:30 p.m. on December 1st. Hopefully Trinity focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Thursday. As for Tulelake, they will square off against Burney at TBD on Friday.
