Jupiter Christian blew past Inlet Grove, posting a 47-19 victory at home. The result was nothing new for Jupiter Christian, who have now won three contests by 22 points or more so far this season.
Jupiter Christian's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emilia Edgar, who scored 24 points along with 5 steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Edgar has scored at least 25% of Jupiter Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Simmons, who scored 6 points along with 11 rebounds and 7 steals.
Jupiter Christian's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. As for Inlet Grove, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jupiter Christian will face off against NSU University at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Inlet Grove will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against South Fork at 7:00 p.m. on December 14th. South Fork comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
