Kya Mitchell was her usual excellent self, going 7 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 37 points and 2 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Aaria Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with six assists and five steals.
Wortham's loss was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Marlin, their victory bumped their record up to 20-3.
Wortham took a serious blow against Marlin in their previous matchup on January 2nd, falling 94-14. Can Wortham avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
