If the MaxPreps national rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Colome. They will challenge Scotland on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Colome are cruising in on a five-game winning streak while Scotland are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses.
Last Friday, Colome put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. Everything came up roses for them against Alcester-Hudson as the squad secured a 62-8 victory. Colome's success was spearheaded by the efforts of senior Beau Bertram, who rushed for 52 yards and 2 touchdowns, and senior Jackson Kinzer, who threw 2 TDs and picked up 44 yards on the ground.
Meanwhile, Scotland have to be aching after a bruising 18-46 defeat to Gayville-Volin.
Colome's win lifted them to 5-0 while Scotland's loss dropped them down to 1-4. Colome have been dynamite on the offensive side of the ball, averaging 63.6 points per game. We'll see if Scotland can find some way to disarm them.
