Loomis Chaffee School are packing up and hiking across state lines for their matchup on Saturday. They will challenge Phillips Exeter Academy on the road at 5:30 PM. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
Last Saturday, Loomis Chaffee School were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 27-33 to Trinity-Pawling School. The loss was a vexing one since Loomis Chaffee School were expected to win based on their state ranking.
Meanwhile, Phillips Exeter Academy took a serious blow against Choate Rosemary Hall School, falling 7-53.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
