Amanda Lebers made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Danielle Maher, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Yasmin Garcia was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Rahway was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They are 9-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Oak Knoll came up short against Watchung Hills Regional on Wednesday, falling 16-4. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Amelia Flood was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Parks, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Oak Knoll's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Rahway has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .632. It's a different story for Oak Knoll, though, as they've only averaged .322. Will they be able to contain Rahway's hitters?
Rahway couldn't quite get it done against Oak Knoll when the teams last played back in May of 2024 as they fell 6-2. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
