Wade Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pathways Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Wade Christian Academy: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home dating back to last season, while Pathways has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
Back in January, Wade Christian Academy was beaten by City of Life Christian Academy 69-20. Wade Christian Academy has struggled against City of Life Christian Academy recently, as their game back in January was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Pathways stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Joshua Christian Academy 62-35 on the road. With Pathways ahead 40-15 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Pathways' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carlos Escalera, who scored 15 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Steven Edwards, who scored 13 points along with five steals.
Wade Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pathways, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.
Wade Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Pathways when the teams last played back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 71-67 win.
