The Chapelgate Christian Academy Yellowjackets lost against the St. Paul's Crusaders back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Chapelgate Christian Academy was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 50-49 to the Crusaders. Chapelgate Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Chapelgate Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Justin Bishop, who scored 24 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bishop has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Sabbat, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and four blocks.
Chapelgate Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for St. Paul's, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chapelgate Christian Academy will stay at home for another game and welcome the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on February 5th. Indian Creek has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 30. As for St. Paul's, they will be playing at home against the Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
